his wonder woman strips are sublime: she's a naturally bodied woman. if i were wonder woman (which i am not. i know - it's a shock) i would look like her. without the buck teeth.
talking of which... his art work is incredible: disturbing and profoundly moving. some may find it a little too disturbing but i find a powerful sensuality in this stuff. it's almost demonic in its rendering but i really believe there is a lot of awe rendered in his 'pillowy women'. his books are stocked in my local comic shop: i wish i could afford them! for now i must just visit them!

i have been meaning to get around to doing a whole PAGE on Tim Biskup but haven't had the time. so while i get my asss in gear, go here and see for yourself. i adore how his work is reminiscent of 50s and 60s interior design. i WANT a whole house done out in this stuff. it would make amazing wallpaper. you'd think, 'oh! retro design.' then you'd see the monsters and critters amongst the shapes! someone should use it on a movie set. subtley, in the background, being marvelous.
