arguably her breakthrough movie, niagra launched mazza into megastardom. ironically she wouldn't really play this kind of dramatic role again - the femme fatale might have been a niche or a nice varient from the musical/comedy she pretty much did over and over from now on.

tellingly the movie loses something once her character, um, disappears, making the last act a bit of a drag. she's the classic temptress, devilish sex pot, showing real range and a sweet tookus.
