Photographer, digital artist, multi-media artist, poet, goddess. That’s Illixit. Her work has a movingly dangerous power. She is so diverse and so electric. The recurring motifs of cutting, slicing, piercing through space and medium highlights the edge of menace and immediacy. There is nothing smooth, nothing safe about Illixit’s work. There is only potency and force and a celebration of the ability of feminine vigour and might.
To me, it warns: she’s a force of chaos and anti-control; she’s rage and she is exultation; she’s your fear and she’s your elation.
