i'll tell you what's so fabulous - my tastes! ( j/k... or AM i???)
here i am going to profile and link to stuffs and things that rock my world and they are mainly going to be in a design and arty nature. sometimes BOTH!
design for life: a superficial fetish
some people may know i have a 'thing' for design... in my next life i WILL be an interior designer or a furniture/fabric designer, an architect, a monkey, a world class pianist, the best artist in the universe, queen of the planet/galaxy/lunch room... or some such thing. i'd be happy to have a career in design in some capacity anyway.
oh, and for those who dig design too, my great aunt was Cycill Geraldine Tomrley (incidentally we share the same initials - spooky!) who was something of a female pioneer in the field of design.
she wrote at least two books (that I know of and one of which i finally own) and also appears to be involved in researching German design, postage stamp design, textiles and antiques. I am very interested in learning more about my great aunt Tomrley, so if anyone comes across anything about her, I'd be truly grateful if you can pass it on to the usual email address - corinnacultureschlock@yahoo.com - cheers!

oh. there are so many great artists out there. you can see some of them already on this thing. however there are others that touch my life in some way. when i get the time i will profile them and explain why they move me. i will also provide a page of linkies so that people can go look-see for themselves and make up their own doggone minds!
these are my intentions. whether it happens is another thing entirely
